Abstract

Diary (21 June 1864 - 9 September 1864) of Richard Owen, transcribed and annotated by David B. Weaver. Describes a portion of Owen's journey by wagon to Oregon across the Bozeman Trail. Entries are written on the backs of scraps of paper that were forms for advertisement requests in a magazine called The Railway Review.
